There is an EVA-filled heel and forepart for lightweight comfort, and an airport-friendly nylon shank that will not set off metal detectors. A Timberland tree logo is embossed on the side, with the Timberland name embossed on the tongue and trim. Nautical flags spell out the Timberland name on the inside collar.
